d program Essence In Cleansing Foam is Shiseido's medicated (quasi-drug) face wash built for sensitive skin, drawing on the brand's 50+ years of sensitive-skin research. It's formulated to remove makeup residue, sebum, and daily grime while protecting the stratum corneum barrier that sensitive skin relies on to retain moisture — leaving skin clean, calm, and smooth rather than tight.
How to use
- Squeeze about 1cm of foam onto your palm.
- Add a small amount of water or lukewarm water and work into a rich lather.
- Wash your whole face by enveloping it in foam, paying extra attention to the hairline, inner corners of the eyes, nostrils, and jawline.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
