About this product
MegRhythm Steam Eye Mask in Hinoki is the renewed version of Kao's original steam eye mask, with a thicker, more heat-retentive non-woven layer and an improved horizontal stretch for a closer fit around the eyes. It self-heats to about 40°C for roughly 20 minutes and is scented with a calming, woody natural hinoki (Japanese cypress) fragrance.
How to use
- Open one individually-wrapped mask (it begins warming as soon as it contacts air).
- Tear along the perforated line and unfold the ear loops.
- Place over closed eyes and hook loops around your ears.
- Relax for about 20 minutes, then remove and discard.
Ingredients
- Iron Powder (heat-generating layer) — Oxidizes on contact with air to generate steady warmth for about 20 minutes.
- Natural Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) Essential Oil — Blended into the fragrance layer for a woody, calming scent.
- Extra-thick Non-woven Fabric (Polyester/Polypropylene) — A softer, more heat-retentive skin-side layer (about 1.5x Kao's previous formulation) that expands with steam for a closer fit.
