d program Essence In Cleansing Foam is Shiseido's face wash built for sensitive skin, drawing on the brand's 50+ years of sensitive-skin research. It's formulated to remove makeup residue, sebum, and daily grime while protecting the stratum corneum barrier that sensitive skin relies on to retain moisture — leaving skin clean, calm, and smooth rather than tight.
How to use
- Squeeze about 1cm of foam onto your palm.
- Add a small amount of water or lukewarm water and work into a rich lather.
- Wash your whole face by enveloping it in foam, paying extra attention to the hairline, inner corners of the eyes, nostrils, and jawline.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Ingredients
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate — A licorice-root derivative.
- Glycerin, Erythritol & Xylitol — A trio of humectants that keep skin's moisture barrier intact while the foam cleanses.
- Myristic Acid, Palmitic Acid & Stearic Acid — Soap-based cleansing agents chosen specifically to exclude lauric acid, the fatty acid most likely to irritate sensitive skin.
- Orange Oil — A trace natural scent note in an otherwise fragrance-conscious, low-irritation formula.
