About this product
Shiryucha is a Japanese blended tea from Yamamoto Kampo Pharmaceutical, made with eucommia, habu tea, barley, brown rice, oolong, soybean, pu-erh, mulberry leaf, licorice, green tea extract and kelp, for a tasty, easy-drinking flavor.
How to use
- Kettle: put 1 bag into about 700–900 ml of boiling water, simmer on low heat for at least 5 minutes, and drink it in several servings through the day.
- Iced: after simmering, let it cool, pour it into a bottle or water pitcher, and chill it in the refrigerator.
- Cold brew: put 1 bag in a water pitcher with about 800 ml of water and refrigerate for about 2 hours (brewing overnight makes it even tastier).
- Teapot: put 1 bag in your teapot and add hot water; pour slowly for a stronger tea or quickly for a lighter one.
- Drinking large amounts brings no extra health benefit — avoid drinking too much.
- Contains soybean. As with other foods, it may rarely cause an allergic or other reaction depending on your constitution; stop drinking it if it does not agree with you.
- Drink brewed tea the same day (it can spoil, especially in summer) and keep leftovers in the refrigerator. Color and flavor may vary because the ingredients are natural.
- Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity, and use soon after opening. Keep out of reach of infants and children.
