Japan's most intensive lip care without scent — KAO's Nivea Deep Moisture Lip in Fragrance-Free formulation targets severely dry, cracked, or peeling lips with a rich, occlusive base that creates a sustained moisture seal throughout the night or throughout a cold, dry winter day. Unlike the lighter Water Type Nivea lip balm, the Deep Moisture formula relies on a dense wax-and-petrolatum matrix that does not evaporate or migrate off the lips quickly, making it especially effective as an overnight treatment or as a base layer before matte lipstick application on dry lips. The fragrance-free version removes all fragrance compounds — including natural botanical extracts that can sensitise lips over time — making it the cleanest choice for those with fragrance sensitivities, reactive lips, or who simply prefer neutrality. 1. Exfoliate lips lightly with a damp cloth once a week to remove surface flaking before applying balm.
2. Glide the balm directly from the stick onto clean, dry lips with smooth, even strokes.
3. Press lips together to distribute product into the corners and lip border.
4. For daytime use, apply a thin layer under or over lip colour.
5. For overnight treatment, apply a generous layer at bedtime and allow to absorb while sleeping; rinse any residue in the morning.
