About this product
KAO Biore Skincare Face Wash is a daily foaming face wash from Biore's “cleansing skin care” line. It uses Kao's SPT (Skin Purifying Technology), designed to wash away dirt while keeping skin's natural moisture and its mildly acidic balance. Skin feels thoroughly clean yet hydrated after washing, and lotion goes on smoothly afterward. Non-comedogenic tested (this does not mean it will not cause comedones for everyone). Elegant, refreshing floral scent.
How to use
- Wet the face with warm water.
- Squeeze a 2–3cm strip onto wet palms and lather thoroughly before applying to the face.
- Apply to the face with gentle circular motions, covering the T-zone, chin, and jawline.
- Rinse completely with cool water; do not leave any residue on the skin.
- Pat dry and follow with toner and moisturiser.

- Isopropyl Methylphenol — key ingredient listed on the Japanese label.
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate — licorice-derived key ingredient listed on the Japanese label.
- Water — base.
- Sorbitol — humectant.
- Lauryl Hydroxysultaine — cleansing agent.
- Potassium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Palmitic Acid — form the soap-based lather.

How much should I use?
About 2–3cm. Lather it with water or warm water, wash, then rinse off thoroughly.
Is it non-comedogenic?
It has completed non-comedogenic testing. This does not mean it will not cause comedones for everyone.
Does it dry out the skin?
Kao describes the after-wash feel as thoroughly clean yet hydrated. If your skin feels dry, reduce use to once a day.
When should I not use it?
Do not use it on broken, swollen or irritated skin. Stop use and consult a dermatologist if redness, swelling, itching or irritation appears. Keep it out of the eyes; if it gets in, rinse well right away.
