Commission is paid monthly via PayPal or bank transfer, 30 days after the close of each month.
All ambassadors must comply with local advertising disclosure laws (e.g. FTC guidelines, ASA codes).
Ambassador FAQ
You earn 10% of the net sale value (excluding shipping and taxes) for every order placed through your unique referral link. For example, if a customer spends $100 via your link, you earn $10. Commission stacks — 10 customers spending $100 each = $100 commission for you that month.
Your referral cookie lasts 30 days. This means if a customer clicks your link and purchases within 30 days (even if they leave and return later), you'll still earn the commission.
Commissions are calculated monthly and paid 30 days after the end of each month. We pay via PayPal or international bank transfer. There is a minimum payout threshold of $50 USD — if your balance is below this, it rolls over to the next month.
The ambassador discount code is intended for use by your audience/followers, not for your own personal purchases. Using your own code for personal orders is not eligible for commission and may result in termination of the partnership.
If a customer returns an order that was attributed to your link, the commission for that order will be deducted from your next payout. We calculate commission on confirmed, non-returned orders only.
Our team reviews all applications within 3–5 Japanese business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with your ambassador account details, unique link, and discount code once approved. If you haven't heard back after 7 days, please contact us.
Yes! We welcome ambassadors from anywhere in the world. SmikieJapan ships to 15+ countries, so your audience just needs to be in a region we serve. Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Australia, and most European countries are all eligible.
Absolutely not. The SmikieJapan Ambassador Program is 100% free to join. We never charge ambassadors any fees, and you can leave the program at any time with no penalty.
