About this product
Toughdent Strong Mint denture cleaning tablets use a high-foaming formula to remove dirt and freshen dentures. The formula contains 2.5 times as much mint oil as the manufacturer's regular Toughdent product. For food residue, soak for five minutes; for thorough cleaning, follow the overnight soaking directions. The manufacturer's 99.9% bacteria-removal claim applies to overnight soaking and does not cover all bacteria. Rinse dentures well before use. Contains 108 tablets.
How to use
- Dissolve 1 tablet in 150–180 mL of water or warm water (40–50°C).
- Immediately soak dentures into the solution.
- Leave for 5 minutes for daily cleaning or overnight for deep cleaning.
- Rinse dentures thoroughly with water before wearing.
Ingredients
- Sodium carbonate & organic acids (effervescent agents) — Create active bubbling action that lifts dirt, plaque, and debris from denture surfaces for deep cleaning.
- Oxygen-based bleaching agents (persulfates, perborates) — Help remove stains and disinfect dentures by breaking down organic residues and bacteria.
- Enzymes — Target and break down protein-based buildup such as food residue and odor-causing compounds for fresher, cleaner dentures.
