Juice Up Gel Pen 0.4mm Metallic Color 6 Color Set

Juice Up is the ultra-fine end of Pilot's Juice family, built around the proprietary Synergy Tip — a cone-and-needle tip geometry that lets a very fine line come out smoothly instead of scratching. The ball is 0.4mm and the line it lays is about 0.3mm, which is genuinely small handwriting territory: planner boxes, index cards, annotation in the margin of a textbook, fine detail in illustration. The body is knock-type, 143mm long and about 11.6g, with a maximum diameter of 10.5mm, and the ink is a water-based pigment gel. This is the Metallic six-color set: six metallic shades that sit on top of dark and colored paper rather than sinking into it. Because the tip is engineered rather than simply narrowed, it keeps ink flow steady at a size where most gel pens skip. Refills are sold separately in the same 0.4mm size, so the barrels are worth keeping. It is a standard pick for bullet journaling, hand-lettered cards and anyone who writes small. 1. Click the knock to extend the Synergy Tip, and write at a normal angle with light pressure.
2. On dark or kraft paper, let the first stroke dry and go over it once more if you want full opacity.
3. Give the line a few seconds to set before highlighting over it or stacking pages.
4. Retract the tip after use — a 0.4mm tip is the part that suffers most from being knocked around uncapped.
5. Replace an empty color with a Juice Up 0.4mm refill instead of discarding the barrel.
