About this product
Designed by Sori Yanagi, Japan's most celebrated industrial designer, this 18cm iron frying pan features his signature curved rim that pours from either side, with the matching stainless lid rotating to open or seal the spouts. The double fiber line texture holds oil so food sticks less, and nitriding — a treatment used on aircraft parts — makes the iron highly rust-resistant. Works on all heat sources including 200V induction. Overall size approx. 338 x 218 x 72mm with lid.
How to use
- Before first use, wash and heat with a little oil. Preheat over medium, add oil, then cook — iron's high heat retention sears beautifully. After cooking, wash with hot water and a brush (no detergent needed), dry over heat and coat lightly with oil for storage.
