This THERMOS bento box carries a subtly retro Mickey Mouse print, built for the classic Japanese lunch routine: a rice container that stays warm, two side dish containers for okazu, and a set of chopsticks in their own case. Everything but the insulated outer case goes straight into the dishwasher, and the containers are microwave-safe for reheating leftovers.
How to use
- Cook rice fresh and pack it hot into the insulated rice container (approx. 100ml / 0.65 cup uncooked rice fits); close the lid immediately to trap heat.
- Pack cooled or room-temperature side dishes into the two 190ml side containers.
- Slide all containers into the insulated outer case, then into the dedicated pouch for extra heat retention.
- At mealtime, open within about 6 hours for best warmth (rice stays above 50-53°C).
- After eating, wash the rice container, side containers, lids, chopsticks, and chopstick case in the dishwasher; wipe the insulated outer case by hand — do not immerse or microwave it.
