ZEBRA Sarasa Clip Gel Pen 0.3mm Black 5-Pack

This is the plain black Sarasa Clip in 0.3mm, sold as a 5-pen pack (P-JJH15-BK5). Sarasa runs on water-based pigment gel ink rather than dye, which is why the black reads as a true saturated black instead of the washed-out tone of a cheap oil-based pen, and why the line stays put once dry rather than lifting when a highlighter passes over it. 0.3mm is the annotation size: margin notes, dictionary corrections, the small squares of a Japanese planner grid, anywhere the space is smaller than your normal handwriting. The clip that gives the pen its name is a movable binder clip: it hinges open wide enough to bite onto a thick notebook cover, a stack of handouts or a pocket edge without splaying. Buying in a multipack is how these are used in Japan - one in the pencil case, one in the bag, one in a desk drawer - and when a pen runs dry you fit a Zebra JF-0.3 refill rather than throwing the body away. 1. Click the knock to extend the 0.3mm tip and write with light pressure - gel ink flows without force, and pressing hard only shortens the tip's life.
2. Retract the tip before pocketing the pen so the point does not dry out or catch on a bag lining.
3. Clip a pen onto the cover of each notebook you use rather than keeping all of them in one case - that is what a multipack is for.
4. When one runs out, twist the barrel apart and fit a Zebra JF-0.3 refill in black instead of discarding the body.
5. Store unused pens tip-up in a jar; a fine gel tip left lying flat for months is more likely to hesitate on the first stroke.
