ZEBRA Sarasa Clip Gel Pen 0.5mm 3-Color Set

Three colors, one tip size: this is the smallest Sarasa Clip set (JJ15-3C-N) and it maps onto the way Japanese notes are actually taken - black for the body of the text, red for what the teacher emphasized, blue for your own thinking. 0.5mm is the all-purpose size and the one most Japanese offices and classrooms default to: dark enough to read at a glance, fine enough for a planner box, forgiving on cheap notebook paper. The pen itself is Zebra's everyday gel standard: water-based pigment ink that writes dark at almost no pressure and resists water once dry, so a highlighter pass or a damp bag does not turn a page into a blur. The movable binder clip hinges wide to grip a thick notebook cover rather than snapping like a rigid clip, and each of the three pens refills with a Zebra JF-0.5 cartridge in its own color. 1. Assign each color a job before you open a new notebook - definitions, corrections, dates - so the set does real work instead of sitting in a pouch.
2. Click the knock to extend the 0.5mm tip and write with light pressure; gel ink is designed to flow without force, and pressing only wears the tip.
3. Retract the tip before dropping the pen in a bag so the point does not dry out or get bent.
4. When a color runs out, twist the barrel apart and fit a Zebra JF-0.5 refill in the same color rather than binning the pen.
5. If a pen hesitates after sitting unused, scribble a few loops on scrap paper to draw the pigment ink back down to the ball.
