About this product
ClickArt exists to solve one specific annoyance: marker pens that die because someone forgot the cap. It is a retractable water-based marker with a knock mechanism, and Zebra made that possible by reformulating the ink rather than by adding a seal. The Moist Keep ink carries hygroscopic components that pull moisture out of the air, so the exposed tip stays wet; Zebra's own testing reports no feathering after fifty-two weeks with the tip retracted. The 0.6mm tip is fine enough to write with and broad enough to color small areas, which puts it between a fineliner and a marker in practice. The ink is water-based dye and it layers well - a pale color drawn over a dried dark one does not drag the dark color into it. Forty-eight colors exist across the line, sold as twelve-color sets grouped by mood. This is the ST set, the standard bright palette, the default set and the one to start with if you want ordinary usable color rather than a mood. The other three are ST for standard brights, LT for the light range, PL for soft pastels and DK for deep adult tones. Made in Japan by Zebra.
How to use
- Click the knock to extend the tip and click again to retract it - there is no cap to lose, and the ink is formulated to survive being left out.
- Let a dark color dry before layering a lighter one over it so the two stay separate.
- Use the 0.6mm tip on its point for lettering and at a slight angle to fill small areas.
- Do not press hard - a water-based fiber tip splays permanently under force, and a splayed tip cannot be restored.
- Store the pens horizontally with the tips retracted; the ink handles air exposure, but not a crushed nib.

Will the tip dry out if I leave it clicked open?
