This is the 0.5 mm version of uni's slim three-color Jetstream, the width most people settle on for everyday writing. Black, red and blue refills share one barrel and are selected with sliding knobs at the top, so you can switch mid-sentence without changing pens. 1. Push the knob of the color you want; the active color retracts on its own.
2. Retract all three before pocketing the pen.
3. Fit Jetstream SXR-80-05 refills when a color runs out, matching each color to its slot.
4. Scribble on scrap paper to restore flow if the pen has been unused for a long time.
5. Store horizontally or tip-down to keep the ink at the ball.
