1. Click the knock to extend the 0.7mm tip and write with light pressure - gel ink flows without force, and pressing hard only shortens the tip's life.
2. Retract the tip before pocketing the pen so the point does not dry out or catch on a bag lining.
3. Clip a pen onto the cover of each notebook you use rather than keeping all of them in one case - that is what a multipack is for.
4. When one runs out, twist the barrel apart and fit a Zebra JF-0.7 refill in black instead of discarding the body.
