Ito En's premium mugicha uses 100% Japanese barley, centered on the naturally sweet Ichibanboshi naked barley variety. The barley is coarsely cut and ground to draw out toasty aroma while keeping out harsh notes, and packed in non-woven filter bags for full, clean extraction. A resealable zipper pouch keeps the 24 bags fresh.
How to use
- Cold brew: place 1 bag in 500mL of cold water and refrigerate about 2 hours. Hot brew: steep 1 bag in 500mL of hot water for about 10 minutes. Remove the bag and enjoy hot or iced.
