About this product
The THERMOS JNL-S500 is the brand's mobile mug, redesigned with a wider mouth and an easier-to-detach drinking spout. Its double-wall stainless steel vacuum insulation keeps drinks above 68°C or below 10°C for a full 6 hours, and every part — body, cap, and spout — is dishwasher-safe.
How to use
- Rinse before first use and fill with hot or cold liquid only (no carbonated drinks).
- Twist the cap open, then slide the drinking spout out to detach it for cleaning.
- All parts are dishwasher-safe — reassemble once fully dry.
- Avoid microwaving; hand-dry the exterior to protect the acrylic resin coating.
Ingredients
- Stainless steel inner bottle and outer body (acrylic resin coated) — forms the vacuum insulation layer that holds heat/cold.
- Polypropylene (PP) cap, lid, and drinking spout — lightweight, BPA-free plastic parts.
- Silicone rubber gaskets on the lid and stopper — seal against leaks.
- Food-contact safe; all parts (body, cap, spout) are dishwasher-safe per THERMOS official spec.
FAQ
Is this bottle dishwasher-safe?
Yes — THERMOS built the JNL-S series so every part, including the cap and spout, can go in the dishwasher.
Can I put carbonated drinks inside?
No, carbonated beverages build up pressure and aren't recommended in any THERMOS mobile mug.
What capacity is this model?
500ml (0.5L) — see the JNL-S350 listing for the smaller 350ml size.
🇺🇸 For US customers
On bento and desk-setup TikTok, a THERMOS mobile mug is the quiet flex next to the lunch box — Japanese drinkware known for actually hitting its stated hold times, not just looking good on a shelf. The 500ml JNL-S500 slots into a bag or cup holder and comes apart completely for the dishwasher, the detail reviewers call out most.
