1. Wet hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water
2. Dispense a palm-sized amount of shampoo (adjust for hair length and density)
3. Lather between palms first, then work into the scalp with fingertip massage motions — avoid nails
4. Work lather through the lengths to the ends
5. Rinse completely until water runs clear; follow with Merit Conditioner if desired
