About this product
Formulated for longer hair with a larger 100g/100g solution volume, ProQualite EX Long is Utena's cold two-step straightening kit: Solution 1 relaxes curl from the hair's core, Solution 2 fixes the new straight shape, and a rich after-treatment helps smooth the cuticle end-to-end. Extra volume means even long, thick, or extra-curly hair gets full saturation from root to tip.
How to use
- Section dry, unwashed hair and apply Solution 1 from mid-lengths to ends first, then finally to the roots; comb through to distribute evenly along the full length.
- Leave for the time indicated in the instructions, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water only (no shampoo).
- Apply Solution 2 generously from roots to ends; leave to set, then rinse thoroughly.
- Finish with the after-treatment, leave a few minutes, then rinse and style as usual.
Ingredients
- Monoethanolamine Thioglycolate (Solution 1) — quasi-drug active that softens and breaks the hair's internal protein bonds so curl can be reshaped.
- Sodium Bromate (Solution 2) — quasi-drug fixing agent that re-forms bonds in the new straight shape.
- Hydrolyzed Silk — moisture-conditioning ingredient blended into the perm solutions for longer lengths.
- Seaweed Extract — moisture-supporting botanical in both solutions.
- Hydrolyzed Keratin, Argan-derived conditioning oils — post-treatment ingredients supporting smoothness and shine along longer hair shafts.
